Interests

Apart from being a student, I enjoy most of my time playing volleyball, video games, and baking. I used to row competitively and dedicated 7 years of my life to school and training, making it on the Junior Canadian National team in 2012 and competing for Washington State Univeristy as a Division I athlete. I love to explore, learn new skills and collaborate with people. I am passionate about learning and expanding my skills in front/back end development and database management. I love the idea of combining science and technology together and hope to pursue a career that aligns with this.

Additionally, I am on the board of directors at iWIST- Island Women in Science and Technology. I volunteer to help bring together and support women and non-binary people in STEAM on the West Coast and Vancouver Island. I contribute to the events and communications sub-committees.
